Fictional story but the romance and struggles are so real. Also the principles about trusting and relying on God are two. Also it takes the love and encouragement of Man & wife and family to get through the hard times..Enjoyed the seties

I enjoyed the 4 book series. Written about a time when things were so simple. Hard working less educated folks living a good Christian life.
This author is a good story teller. I am about to read one of her other series.
