The movie is going to be great!! But, this book tells the ENTIRE story. It should have come out the week after the movie! Oz obsessed fans, such as myself, won't be able to pass up the opportunity at a sneak peek. I tried to barely read and look at the great pictures. Tried.

Good overview

Our 7-year-old granddaughter had some trepidation about going to see the movie. This book, read in advance of the movie's opening (along with the Kindle version of the screenplay) helped alleviate any fears. She continues to pour over this book, especially studying the pictures, as she savors this sweet pre-quel to the beloved Oz adventures.

Great pictures poor editing

Pictures were great, the story was good however the I may have a early first printing and it was clearly pushed out quickly as there were numerous grammatical errors. But since I was in the movie the chance to see myself on print outweighs the lack of use of a grammatical and spellchecker
