About the Author
Melody Rossi performed with numerous opera companies during her singing career. In 1994 she suffered a surgical error that nearly took her life. Her long recovery became a pivotal point in her Christian walk and gave her tremendous compassion for those with serious illnesses. Melody subsequently founded Cloud and Fire Ministries, an organization that evangelizes, disciples, and educates at-risk youths. She and her husband live in Granada Hills, California.

An Amazing Heartfelt Way to Find Hope Through the Pain

May I Walk You Home? by Melody Rossi did so much for me in terms of being able to share the Gospel with people who are in very difficult times.
The times when people need God the most can sometimes be the hardest to share with them because they are so upset, angry or simply closed off. Not only in the cases of terminal illness is this book a Soul saver. I had a friend who was suicidal and without hope while going through a painful divorce he didn't want. By using the steps and ways I experienced in the book, I was blessed to be able to get my friend into the most important relationship in his life in the most important time. He is now saved; in this life and forever.

Great Book. I read it for my aunt during her last days fighting cancer. Not only was it inspiring for her but i also enjoyed it.

not what I expected

I purchased this book based on a review I saw in a respected publication and the reviews I saw on Amazon. It has turned out to not be what I expected and I am deleting it from my kindle. This is why I feel this way. If you believe that God causes bad things to happen to us, then this is the book for you. However, if you believe that bad things happen to everyone and God is present to us always - even and especially when we are dealing with trauma and life changing events, then this book is not for you. I do not believe that God brings about illness and tragedy in order to bring us closer to him. Instead, I believe that we have the oppportunity to deepen our relationship with God through our encounters with illness and tragedy. I cannot relate to a book that advocates a loving God who intentionally brings about these things upon those he loves.
