Not what I expected

This is the journal of a Christian reaching out to people he met on his journey across the USA on a bicycle. He went from the NW corner to the SE corner by going south from WA to San Francisco then NE to the confluence of the Ohio and the Mississippi River then south to Key West. To me that is not the most direct route. He mentions almost every town he stopped in so you could probably follow his route on the map. He did it without camping or sleeping under the stars. He mentions nothing about the preplanning or the equipment he took for the trip. He made the trip with only one flat tire shortly after he started. He performed a monumental task.

My "friend" Paul.

Paul Stutzman's writing pulls you in like a good conversation with a friend. You feel as though you're right there beside him and wish you were. I will never walk the Appalachian Trail or bicycle across the US, but I love the time I spend with my friend Paul and his stories help me to experience the things I will never actually do and I appreciate the journey.
