Readers will learn the importance of good soil and the benefits of organics before delving into descriptive tables that reflect the amazing range of plants we can grow here. Binding fell apart, too much information

I was very excited to order this book. However, when it came the binding was already cracked, and after one or two times opening the book, it ripped completely off. I guess it was bound in China. It is a very heavy, dense book and has exhaustive lists of plants, most of which are not pictured in the book, or sold locally for that matter. I hoped it would have more practical "how to" advice and plans, rather than just long lists of mostly unused plants. Also the plants are alphabetized by their latin names, so you have to look everything up in the index if you aren't a scientist. I am dissapointed in the book but will keep it because some of the information is helpful.
