About the Author
H. Norman Wright is a licensed marriage, family, and child therapist, as well as a certified trauma specialist. The author of more than seventy books, Wright has pioneered premarital counseling programs throughout the country and conducts seminars on many subjects, including marriage enrichment, parenting, and grief recovery. His current focus is in crisis and trauma counseling and critical incident debriefings within the wider community. He and his wife, Joyce, live in Bakersfield, California.

This is a great book. Library loan years ago and loved it

This is a great book. Library loan years ago and loved it. Found I needed to have it once more only as a study book. It covers nearly every issue a daughter could experience or go through. Helping to address the issues between father and daughter and all the ways in which to work through process and identify the things that are not usually discussed. It is an excellent source and guide helping to navigate the darker murkier waters many of us daughter's fear to tread. May it be a source of inspiration and healing for you as it has been for me. Thank you~

Great resource

I bought this book while completing a faith-based recovery program and I can honestly say it was the best $16.00 I've ever spent on self-help. I like the way it went step by step of helping you confront what was really at the heart of the issue you had with your father and then asked specific questions that made you really think about what you could do to work through and walked you through the process. It was really difficult but if you stick with it and are brutally honest, you'll feel a freedom like you've never experienced before.
