Accolades for Thriving!

Nancy Grisham has written a refreshingly honest book about finding God in the struggles and joys of life. The chapter on 'Saying No to Fear' has been one of the most helpful things I've ever read on the subject. Wherever you are on your faith journey, this book is filled with wisdom and insights that will not disappoint!

Life to its fullest!

Thriving by Nancy Grisham is a wonderful book about getting more of that abundant life the Bible tells us about! She helps direct you using her own personal journey, as well as scripture, to appropriate that which has been promised to believers. I would read it with a highlighter as you will be wanting to reference many of her insights that come from a life that has been spent seeking Jesus and claiming what is a right as a child of the King, life in all its fullness! Her vulnerability and down to earth style make you want to meet her for a cup of coffee and pick her brain about doing life with God. I recommend this for new believers because it will save a lot of wasted years "doing it wrong" or wondering how to do it at all, and for seasoned veterans of the faith who will be encouraged by a fellow traveler's journey. After your first read, you will want to open it up and read it again! This will be the book I'm giving as gifts this year!

Thriving, by Nancy Grisham, is one of those books you will find yourself reaching for again and again! Grisham writes from personal experience coupled with scriptural Truth to give the reader practical and easily applicable examples on how to live each day with the trust in your heart, mind, and spirit that He came to give us an abundant life! You'll not only find your own copy written in and dog-eared, you'll also want to mark special passages in the margins of the ones you will undoubtedly find yourself buying for friends!
