About the Author
Ed Tandy McGlasson is a former lineman in the National Football League where he played with the Giants, the Jets, and the Rams. Ed's call to ministry began in college after being healed from a career-ending knee injury that led to his conversion while playing for Youngstown State. Ed eventually entered the ministry in 1984 and started traveling and sharing his testimony and doing evangelistic crusades. In 1988 Ed planted the Stadium Vineyard in Anaheim, California, and has been a pastor there since.
Ed has spoken at numerous conferences across the country and around the world, including a number of rallies for Billy Graham crusades. Ed's first book, The Difference a Father Makes--which has over 200,000 copies in print--along with his conference The Blessing of the Father, keeps Ed busy in churches, conferences, and corporate events.

What a blessing!

Thanks for writing this transforming book.
I have been on a journey -for almost 50 years to
heal the wounds on my heart - from growing up
without a father.
15 years ago I started to deal with the wounds.
15 years ago I started to realize that I was " self
-medicating" - with an unhealthy passion for focusing
on overachieving .
With your book and the " Jesus Calling" devotional,
I am experiencing for the first time in my life- the
extravagant love of my heavenly father!
It feels great!
I am now trying to reverse the wounds that I have
inflicted on my 2 grown children.
I take great comfort - believing that just like your
book says- it is never too late!!!

Dynamic Truth On The Father's Blessing

The Father You've Always Wanted by Ed Tandy McGlasson provides the salve for the wound in everyone of us. McGlasson has a knack for speaking truth in a way that pierces you in the heart but yet it feels so good. His passion for the truth message of the Father's blessing is so genuine. I started to read one chapter and couldn't put it down. His illustrations are so easy to relate to, and his use of scripture is timely and applicable without being religious. This is a book for every generation. It's message desperately needs to be heard and shared. I strongly recommend this book to every dad, and every son and daughter who wants to receive the blessing of being named and called by your father. Healing will come as you read this book. I can see my father running toward me calling me his beloved.

Powerful. Ed's message has helped me so much in uncovering and then dealing with my own relationship to my father. It has changed my perspective on how I view myself and how I approach others, and it is affecting my professional life as well as my hopes for my future as a man of God. I highly recommend this book!
